Mission:
The Wayne County Historical Society collects, preserves and exhibits that which promotes and keeps alive an active interest in history. The Society provides resources to encourage learning about Wayne County Heritage and to enhance community pride.
Meeting: 1st Tuesday of the month @ 9:00 am at the Prairie Trails Museum Library.
Project: The Society owns and operates the Prairie Trails Museum at:

Museum Open April 15 until October 15
June, July & August: Weekdays 10-5; Sundays 1-5
Events: July 4th Freedom Ring at 3:00 pm - Special program, music and the traditional ringing of the bells outside the Museum. October 7 - 5th Annual Pioneer Festival - October 7 @ 3 pm; Chuck Wagon Feed 5:30-7 pm; Music begins at 6 pm. Demonstrations of old time crafts & kid’s activities.
